Drysdale vertical engine with reversing gear - stock code 7157

A Drysdale vertical steam engine, of attractive proportions with balanced crank, piston valve actuated by Stephenson's reversing gear and a comprehensive system of wick and drip feed lubricators. Cylinder is wood lagged with brass bands.

There is no reversing lever or quadrant, although it would not be a terribly difficult job to make something in similar style to the rest of the engine. The engine is in good condition, castings undamaged, it turns over freely.

Weight approx 300 pounds
Height, base to top of cylinder cover 29 inches
Bore approx 3 1/2 inches
